Every supplier has a story. Ours starts with a simple observation: engineers around the world were struggling to get the right plastic parts, in the right material, to the right specification, at a fair price and without endless back-and-forth. VFOOS Engineering Plastics was built to solve exactly that.
Where we started
We began on the factory floor, machining engineering plastics for local industrial customers — pump and valve components, wear parts, seals, bushings and bespoke components that simply could not be bought off the shelf. Working directly with maintenance engineers taught us something no catalogue could: what actually fails in service, and why.
Those years gave us hands-on knowledge of seven core materials — PTFE, POM, Nylon, HDPE, UHMWPE, PP and Bakelite — and a healthy respect for their limits as well as their strengths. That experience is still the backbone of how we advise customers today.
Growing beyond the workshop
As word spread, demand came from further afield: chemical plants, food processors, semiconductor equipment makers and automotive suppliers. To serve them properly, we invested in two things that matter most to a buyer — stock breadth and machining capability. Today we hold a wide range of sheets, rods and tubes in every material we sell, and machine custom parts from single prototypes to production runs.

Where we are going
Engineering plastics are entering an exciting phase — lightweighting, electrification and stricter chemical regulations are all changing what designers need.
