PP — Polypropylene
Very low density with excellent chemical resistance and good fatigue life — easily welded for fabricated structures.
Polypropylene is one of the lightest engineering plastics, with outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis and many solvents. It has good fatigue life and is readily welded, making it a favourite for chemical plant and laboratory equipment.
Its low cost, chemical resistance and weldability make PP ideal for tanks, ducting and fabricated process equipment.

Grades & Modifications
Available in homopolymer and copolymer grades, plus UV-stabilised, anti-static, flame-retardant and food-contact compliant versions. Colour matching is available for fabricated equipment.
Machining & Fabrication
PP is easily CNC machined and, importantly, easily welded. We fabricate tanks, ducts and liners by butt-welding and hot-gas welding, then finish-machine to drawing.
