UHMWPE — Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
Outstanding wear resistance — up to 10× that of carbon steel — plus self-lubricating, impact-absorbing performance.
UHMWPE offers extreme abrasion resistance, very low friction and excellent impact strength, even at low temperatures. Its self-lubricating surface resists sticking, making it ideal where material build-up and wear are problems.
It outperforms metals and most plastics in sliding-wear applications, and is unaffected by moisture and most chemicals.

Grades & Modifications
Available in standard, UV-stabilised, anti-static and FDA food-contact grades. Colour options include natural, green and black for identification and UV protection.
Machining & Fabrication
UHMWPE machines well by CNC routing, turning and milling. Its low melting point requires sharp tooling and controlled feeds; we produce clean edges and can also fabricate welded liners.
